1. What We Collect
We collect information you submit directly through our forms:
- Pageant registration (Wave Queen 2026): full name, date of birth, age, email, mobile number, address details, Instagram handle, height/weight, a face photograph, a full-length photograph, and an optional CV/bio and short introduction.
- General inquiries (Contact page): name, email, phone number and your message.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this website at this time. A single technical session cookie is used briefly to prevent repeated automated form submissions (spam protection) and is not used to identify or track you across visits.
2. Children's Information (Kids Category)
The Wave Queen pageant includes a Kids category. Where an application is submitted for a minor, we require that the form be completed by, and the declaration agreed to by, a parent or legal guardian on the child's behalf. We treat this information with the same protections described in this policy, and a parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's information at any time using the contact details below.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To review and respond to pageant applications and shortlist candidates
- To respond to general inquiries, commissions and press requests
- To contact you about your application or inquiry by email or phone
We do not sell, rent or trade your information to third parties, and we do not use it for purposes beyond what's described here without asking you first.
4. How Your Information Is Handled Technically
When you submit a form, the information and any photographs are sent directly by email to Taption Media's team using an encrypted (TLS) connection to our email provider. Uploaded photographs and files are not saved to our web server's storage at any point — they are attached to the outgoing email from temporary upload memory and then discarded. Your information persists only in the resulting email, in the inboxes it's delivered to.
5. Data Retention
Application and inquiry emails are retained in our team's inbox for as long as reasonably needed to run the current pageant cycle or respond to your inquiry, and are deleted when no longer needed. You can request earlier deletion at any time — see Section 7.
6. Third-Party Services
Form submissions are delivered using Google's Gmail SMTP service. Google's own privacy policy governs how Gmail handles mail once it's delivered to an inbox. We do not share your information with any other third party.
7. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you've submitted, or to withdraw a pageant application, at any time by emailing taptionmedia.in@gmail.com with your request. We'll respond as promptly as we can.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the update date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
